After a tough few years following a traumatic, high profile incident on duty, Claire Bond was
awarded the Emergency Services accolade at the Pride of Britain Awards. Following this great honour, Claire wrote a fantastic note to the Team at St Andrews which she is happy to share.
"In the week just past I have returned to The Police Treatment Centre
for an overdue Wellbeing course. This followed a really busy month of Charity work culminating in being honoured with the Emergency Services Pride of Britain award on the 1st of November.
The Police Treatment Centres have been instrumental to my recovery over the past 2 years and
even through this bizarre year of closures and isolation, the team have worked tirelessly to stay open and create a safe place for patients to recuperate. This has benefited not only myself but a variety of Officers from all over the Country.
This
place means a huge amount to me and I wish to Thank all of the Staff at the PTC from the
bottom of my heart."
We at the Police Treatment Centres would like to thank Claire for her kind words, but also for the hard work that she has put into elevating and spreading the word of the PTC through all of her various Charitable and media endeavors, we are truly grateful.
