All applications are dealt with in the following way:-
1. Complete application form and submit to the PTC
2. PTC check all forms to ensure they are correctly completed
3. All applications are sent for clinical assessment. If required the clinical team may contact you to make further enquiries
4. A date will be allocated, normally within the following 2 to 6 weeks. At times the clinical teams will suggest a later admission date than this if they feel this would be more beneficial depending on an individual’s circumstances.
For the Physiotherapy Programme, this can be due to the recovery process after some types of surgery and for the Psychological Wellbeing Programme it may be that the most appropriate time for admission is after other forms of intervention have been completed.
NB. The charity aims to notify you of a date to attend within 10 days of receiving your application form. You will be notified by your chosen method eg email, text, writing.

In response to feedback that some GPS are charging Patients to have their application forms signed, the PTC have produced a supporting letter to accompany your application.
