"During my time with North Wales Police, I found myself at the Police Treatment Centre in Harrogate twice due to injuries sustained whilst on duty. The exceptional care and treatment I received were unparalleled, and the support from the Police family made the experience even more manageable.
Since retiring form the Police in 2018, I have maintained my subscription to the centre which includes my lottery donation. Fortunately I have not required any visits post-retirement, but the uncertainty of the future emphasises to me the importance of supporting this vital service. My continued donations also aim to assist in ensuring its availability for the next generation of Officers who bravely face risks on a daily basis.
In December 2023 I received the news of winning £2000 in the lottery. As a mature student pursuing a Photography BA degree course at Bangor University this windfall will be instrumental in acquiring much needed photographic equipment.
So, thank you very much indeed."
