“I first heard of the Police Treatment Centre when a representative visited my cohort during training. I was keen to support the charity as I believe it offers vitally important services to both retired and serving officers and staff in what is an extremely demanding and challenging career.

I first found out I had won £50 when a cheque arrived in the post. It was a lovely, unexpected surprise, especially at Christmas. It made a change from receiving bills through the post. I was able to take my family out for a meal with the prize money which was a nice treat as I was on duty over Christmas and New Year and had missed out on the festivities”
