Sarah qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2005, having previously completed a BSc (Hons) Sports Science. She initially worked in the NHS for several years before moving to work within the private setting and with a wide range of sports including at an elite level.
Sarah worked at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics with the British Women’s Bobsleigh team (“Team Minichiello”), who were the 2009 World Champions. Sarah joined the Physio team at St Andrews in 2009, as a team physiotherapist, and then became the Head Physiotherapist at St Andrews in 2015. Sarah then took the role of Head of Clinical Services in April 2023. Sarah is feeling privileged to be working with such a great team of Nurses, Physiotherapists, Fitness Teams, Counsellors and Complementary Therapists at the PTC.
She enjoys the challenge of helping officers with wide ranging clinical needs and facilitating them to achieve their goals and aspirations. Outside of work she can be found with her 2 young children and gorgeous Labrador going for a wonderful walk somewhere beautiful or trying her hand at yoga.
