Members of the England Police Rugby Union Football Club plus two Chief Constables and two St Andrews staff take on a tandem skydive jump in support of the Police Treatment Centres with the most recognised and skilled Sky Divers in the UK, The RED DEVILS!
The first jump on 6th September went really well, the weather was fine and dry all day and so the three participants Emma, Emma and Ellie did a great job had a fantastic experience , so good they all said they wanted to do it again! Tusker rep Roni managed to get two groups in, whilst the second group jump with Simon, Team Xamax and Team PTC happened in September.
So far, the team have raised a fantastic £16,101.86!
Still to jump on 24th July 2018 are Chief Constable of Durham Constabulary, Mike Barton and Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police, Dee Collins
T/CC Collins said “I am delighted to take part in the skydive to raise funds and the awareness of the great work undertaken by the Police Treatment Centres. Whilst jumping out of a plane is a daunting challenge, I’ve been motivated to take part knowing that my contributions will help so many others.”
CC Barton said “I am sure I’ll be wondering what on earth I’m doing when I’m sat waiting to go out of the plane door. But it’s a great idea and a great cause so I hope people will take pity on me and put their hand in their pockets to help raise as much as possible.”
