It’s been a busy few months here at the Police Treatment Centres, and with spring now in full swing, we wanted to share a few highlights and give you a sneak peek at something very special coming this summer!
👋 Meet Our New Team mate!
We’re really happy to welcome Fiza to the team who has joined us recently and has already settled in brilliantly. It’s always great to bring fresh energy and ideas into the mix, and we’re looking forward to everything she will bring to the role. I am sure you’ll see her, along with the rest of the team out and about in your local area this year!
🌟 Spotting Our Look Out and About
Our refreshed branding has been out in the world for a little while now, and it’s been fantastic to see it really come into its own. From printed materials to event signage—and our brand-new website—it’s been great to watch everything come together. We’ve loved hearing how recognisable and accessible it’s become in our community.
🤝 Getting Stuck In Locally: Our Work with HADCA
Community matters so much to us, and it’s great to be able to connect with a local fundraising group through HADCA (Harrogate & District Community Action). They do amazing work connecting local organisations, and recently they were kind enough to feature us in their editorial for the local newspaper. It was such a lovely opportunity to share a bit more about who we are, what we do, and why wellbeing for the police family really matters. If you spotted it in the paper—thank you for reading!
🚗 Something Big (and Very Fast!) is Coming…
We’re counting down the days to Saturday 19th July, when we’ll be hosting our Fuelling the Force: Family Fun Day at the Harrogate Centre!
This is shaping up to be such a fun day out for the whole family. We’ll have:
It’s our way of bringing the community together, raising vital funds, and hopefully enjoying some sunshine while we’re at it. We’d love to see as many of you there as possible—early bird tickets are on sale now, so grab yours before the end of May!
📣 Help Us Spread the Word
One thing we’ve noticed while out at recent events is that many people still aren’t aware that staff—not just serving officers—are eligible for support from the Police Treatment Centres. It’s such an important message, and we really want to make sure it’s reaching the whole policing family. If you’re chatting to colleagues or sharing our work, please help us spread the word—every conversation makes a difference.
