Laura Sayer Completes NYC Marathon

Today PC Laura Sayer of Police Scotland visited Castlebrae to mark her magnificent triumph in completing the New York City Marathon a few weeks ago and raising an amazing £3,392 for the PTC.

Laura was seriously injured on duty last year in a knife attack while attending a routine call. She has since then visited Castlebrae twice as part of her rehabilitation. Laura was so grateful for the help and support she received at the centre that she took on the daunting challenge of completing the New York City Marathon and raising the funds for the PTC.

We are so glad to see Laura having made such a good recovery from her injuries and we are very grateful to her for support.
