Soap Stars Vs British Transport Police in Charity Match

A great family event yesterday with the charity football match at Garforth Town between BTP and Emmerdale footy.

A hard fought match resulted in a 3-2 victory to the Emmerdale footy stars, enjoyed by over 200 spectators in warm sunshine! Two young lads in the crowd were heard to say… “it’s just like watching Messi and Ronaldo”! Praise indeed.

The match was organised by John Moses (third from right, top row), who said “I attended the centre last year after a serious leg injury and the help I received was first class. I spoke to many officers there and the work done is fantastic so I wanted to raise money for the centre as well as raise the profile with current officers.”
