What is involved?

  • Our Ambassadors help by distributing leaflets or posters, adding content to force intranets, sharing their stories or even attending inputs to student officers with the Engagement Team.
  • Attending Student and Retired Officer inputs is possibly the biggest impact an Ambassador can have. We can show them all of the facilities and give details galore but if one of their peers steps up for 5 minutes to share their experience and articulates how the PTC has impacted them, our sign up rates go through the roof.
  • It is also crucial that our Ambassadors keep us informed of any events or inputs that we have not been informed of. It is also useful when our Ambassadors keep us up to date of any personnel changes within Force. Quite often our contacts move on and we simply do not find out.

A Message from Our Chief Executive

“We rely heavily on Officers spreading the word about the good work we do at the Centres.
Whilst many know about the support we can offer and do attend our Centres when they need help, there are many that still don’t.
We need people on the ground to distribute leaflets, spread the word and tell their story to ensure that we reach those people!”
