I recently attended the Harrogate Police Treatment Centre for two weeks, having suffered for 6 months with multiple herniated discs, one of which had trapped my L5 nerve to my right leg. As a result, I required Physiotherapy rehabilitation to both strengthen my leg and improve my back.

I found the whole experience excellent. I had my own physio assigned, Nev, who was really professional and knowledgeable about the issues I faced. He helped me no end with a programme of exercises during my time at the PTC, but, more importantly, a plan for when back to normal life.

I found the entire set up really well run and all the staff helpful and supportive. I was able to relax from the madness of daily life, recharge my batteries and feel confident that I had a plan to continue to strengthen my core and, in turn, support my back.

Having paid into the scheme my entire career and never entertained the idea of attending, I would recommend to anyone having any form of physical or mental hardship, please consider going. You will not regret it!!
