Bryn Hughes Takes on the New York Marathon for an Exciting PTC Project

Bryn Hughes from PC Nicola Hughes Memorial Fund has kindly chosen the PTC as a joint beneficiary of their 2024 New York Marathon event! On Sunday, 3rd November 2024, Bryn Hughes will be running in the New York Marathon, one of the world’s most renowned races, to raise funds for two vital projects. One being trauma counselling for children and the other being a new outdoor space at our PTC Harrogate site. 

“In 2012 we lost Nicola, alongside her colleague Fiona in a brutal gun & grenade attack while on duty as a Police Officer.Since 2014 we have continued to offer support to children that have suffered the loss of a parent due to violent crime.If Nicola and Fiona had survived the attack then the Police Treatment Centre would have provided much needed treatment & rehabilitation.”- Bryn Hughes
