Last Friday, representatives from Merseyside Police Federation paid a visit to St Andrews, Harrogate to find out more about the Police Treatment Centres and St George’s Police Children Trust. Both charities are administered from St Andrews. The visit started with an introduction by Colonel Patrick Cairns to the two charities and continued with a tour and introduction to key staff.

Patrick Cairns commented, “We are pleased to welcome both staff and officials from Merseyside Police Federation to our centre to see for themselves our facilities and to see how we treat their members and help them on the road to recovery. It was also a good opportunity to update them on St George’s Police Children Trust and show them our new holiday home.”

The Police Treatment Centres welcomes visits from Police Federation staff and officials; occupational health and HR staff and others who would like to find out more about how we can support their members back to health following injury or illness. If you would like to visit please contact the fundraising department on 01423 851910 or email fundraising@thepolicetreatmentcentres.org
