Welcome to St Georges Police Trust Website

St George’s Police Trust supports more than 300 children and young people whose police officer parent has died, or has been incapacitated (wholly or partially) from earning a living.

While no amount of money can replace a parent, support from the Trust can provide a degree of financial certainty in difficult times.

The charity was first established in the 1950's with the proceeds from the sale of the Police Orphanage in Harrogate, St George’s House. Serving police officers make a voluntary donation of 19 pence per week to support the work of the Trust. If you would like to find out more about the objectives of the charity you can download a summary of our current Business Plan.
