St George’s Police Trust supports more than 300 children and young people whose police officer parent has died, or has been incapacitated (wholly or partially) from earning a living.
While no amount of money can replace a parent, support from the Trust can provide a degree of financial certainty in difficult times.
The charity was first established in the 1950's with the proceeds from the sale of the Police Orphanage in Harrogate,
