The entries are in, the final judging has taken place and we can now announce the winners of the St. George’s Police Children Trust Christmas Card Competition.
Earlier this year St. George’s Police Children Trust launched a competition to design a 2019 Christmas card for the charity to raise funds. Three separate age groups were announced which were;
Weenies for those 6yrs old and below;
Tweenies, for those between the ages of 7 and 12yrs of age; and
Teenies, for those between 13 and 16yrs of age.
We had a great response from all age groups and after some tough judging we can now announce the winners and runners up in each category as follows:
Weenies Winner - Emily Whalley
Weenies Runner up - Lavinia Crook
Tweenies Winner - Felicity Lee
Tweenies Runner up - Charlotte Oxley
Teenies Winner - Milly Baybutt
Teenies Runner up - Ollie Lee
All of the above will be receiving prizes and the 3 category winning designs will be made into our 2019 SGPCT Christmas cards.
Special thanks must also go to the following:
Erin Hewins – For the Longest Distance Sent - all the way from New Zealand!
Bert Hindle - Always young at heart even in your eighties.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter, we had lots of brilliant designs and watch this space for news of the winning designs being released as cards on sale with proceeds going back into the charity.
