7th December 2020
Wednesday the 2nd of December saw the 2020 edition of our Ambassador Seminar.
Every two years, we like to offer our intrepid band of Ambassadors from across the UK the opportunity to come along to the one of our Centres, enjoy a B&B stay, catch up and meet some fellow officers. Most of all however, our aim is to share best practice. Having the platform to enable our Ambassadors to top up on the knowledge that is always useful when spreading the word of the PTC and St Georges across our Constituent Forces is fantastic.
This year however, given current, slightly abnormal circumstances, we decided fairly early on to stage the event virtually. Clearly, this posed some challenges but in the same breath it gave us the opportunity to benefit from a digital format, allowing us to have a continuous chat/Q&A session running simultaneously and also overcome a constant challenge when inviting Ambassadors to events and that is the ability to attend. This year with the event on a digital platform, we were able to record the proceedings in real time and then post them to our YouTube channel following the event.
Overall the Seminar was a real success, we have had some very positive feedback and I am aware that many more Officers who could not dial in on the day are keen to catch up on the footage when it becomes available in the next few days.
If you are interested in becoming a Police Treatment Centre Ambassador, and offering your support when communicating around Force the fantastic work of the PTC and St Georges Police Children’s Trust, simply fill out your details HERE and we will be in touch
Thanks again to all of our PTC Ambassadors for the work they put in on our behalf throughout the year, 2020 has been challenging and your work in ensuring Officers know here to turn when they are in need is invaluable.
