All companions accompanying a patient must complete an application form.
Following a number of matters arising in the past it has been necessary to introduce a process to assess, as well as support for, the attendance of patients ‘companions’.
Due to increasing costs, the decision to introduce a companions charge has been made. From 1 January 2014 a companion will be charged at the rate of £150 per week to cover the additional accommodation, food and service costs. The companions charge must be paid no later than the date of admission e.g. cheque or credit card payment before or upon arrival.
Please note that application forms are only valid for 3 months from the date of signature.

If your partner or spouse will be joining you over the middle weekend of your stay, please complete this additional form and attach to your application for treatment form and send them all to St Andrews.
By making a monthly donation, the PTC can support YOU during difficult times. Your donation gives you access to free, expert, police-specific treatment, at one of our 2 centres, regardless of whether your injury occurred on or off duty.
If you are a serving or retired police officer and have suffered an injury or illness, our experienced and fully qualified staff may be able to assist you.
We are a registered charity funded almost entirely by donations from serving officers and members of the public. We need your support.
