Acting Superintendent Lisa Hogan of Northumbria Police visited St Andrews today and enjoyed her first tour of the building and facilities.
Lisa was representing Women in Policing, Northumbria Health & Wellbeing and the British Association of Women in Policing (BAWP) during her visit.
BAWP is the only national organisation to embrace women of all ranks and grades within the Police Service. Their mission is to ensure that those women are heard and work toward gender equity in policing. The BAWP Senior Women in Policing conference will be hosted by Sussex Police in the autumn of 2017.
