Virtually a balloon race - November 2010
A balloon which travelled more than 500 miles won the first Police Treatment Centres virtual balloon race and helped to raise over £13000 for the charity.
£5 bought a ‘virtual balloon’ which could be tracked using google earth from the comfort of an armchair and had an eco-friendly arm as there were no deflated balloons lying around at the end.
First place won a Samsung full HD television, second place won a 64GB Ipod Touch and third place won a Nintendo Wii all sponsored by Prosperis, independent financial advisors to the Police Treatment Centres.
