Accommodation
The majority of our treatment is provided on a residential basis and so the comfort of our patients is very important to us.
The majority of our rooms are single en-suite rooms, but we do have a small number of double and twin rooms for use by officers whose injury or illness means they need to bring a carer with them (often a partner or spouse).
Rooms are equipped with televisions with built-in DVD players, a radio, tea and coffee making facilities and there is wifi throughout each Centre (available for a small charge).
Housekeeping
Our Treatment Centres pride themselves on excellent in-house housekeeping staff who ensure all facilities are kept to a very high standard of cleanliness and order. Rooms are cleaned daily and sheets changed regularly. There are several social areas at both centres along with the treatment, gym, pool and classes areas
Laundry is also in-house. Towels are provided in rooms with spares for the pool/gym.
Each centre has two laundry rooms specifically for patients with washing machines, dryers, airers and powder.
Our aim is to make each patient's stay as comfortable as possible.
Grounds and gardens
Both Castlebrae and St Andrews have extensive grounds and gardens which have won several awards in local competitions.
Our in-house maintenance teams are responsible for the areas and there is much to explore. In support of our physical rehabilitation programmes there are external exercise facilities such as: tennis courts, bikes, and croquet at both centres; or quiet areas to simply relax and recuperate.
