Some of you have been Trustees, either with us or with other organisations, for some time. Others of you may be new to Trusteeship.
The Trustee Handbook as set out below has been developed in line with the ongoing Trustees training provided by the charity. If you have any suggestions on additional documentation you would like to see here, we would be pleased to hear from you.
General information
Issued by the Charity Commission for England and Wales, this guidance note sets out the roles and responsibilities of a Trustee as well as offering sources of help and support.
In a similar vein to CC3, this guide has been produced by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator for the benefit of Trustees of charities registered or based in Scotland.
Trustees bear responsibility for the sustainability of charitable organisations. The Institute of Fundraising's guide provides the tools and information Trustees need to make informed decisions about fundraising.
