How to Apply

For more than 100 years, St George’s Police Trust has supported children in police families where the death, or incapacity, of a police officer parent has occurred.

Support is of a financial nature and may range from a weekly allowance for each child in the family, support through further and higher education, and ex-gratia grants for necessary activities or items. Weekly grants, which are paid quarterly, are currently “banded” to reflect the income level of the household to ensure funds are put to charitable use and support those most in need or who are suffering hardship.

Payments will be backdated to the date of the event giving rise to the application, or where this date more than 12 months previously, to a maximum of 12 months preceding the date of the application.
